Sure, 5k sounds like a long way, but really, it's only 3.1 miles. And for those of you who are game, the National School Boards Foundation's 5k is a great way to support a good cause and get your exercise in while in Orlando.

The word on the street (all 5k of it) is that the Run/Walk route this year is more beautiful than ever, and should be a real treat. You can get more info here.

And to register once you have arrived at the conference, visit the the NSBF 5K Booth in the West registration concourse of the NSBA Annual Conference of the Orange County Convention Center on Friday, March 29 or Saturday, March 30 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

And don't forget your sneakers!
