Ferdinand says, "Read me!"

It's almost time for one of BoardBuzz's favorite literacy activities, Read for the Record. We told you about it before, and we just want to remind you again, because we think it's so cool.

On September 20, readers all across the country (including some celebrity guests), will collectively read The Story of Ferdinand, in an attempt to break the current record for the largest shared reading experience ever, which was set by 150,000 people on August 24, 2006 during the inaugural year of the campaign.

Learn how you and your school district can participate by visiting the Read for the Record Web site .
