Center for Public Ed attracts media attention

For the second time in a month, the Center for Public Education has been featured in the Washington Post. BoardBuzz told you earlier about Jay Mathews' online column on the Center's "More than a horserace" report on international testing. Today, the Center's research on the value of homework was reported too.

The article summarizes some of the key points of the research packet, "What research says about the value of homework." You can visit the Center's Web site to read the research, and be sure to check out the transcript of the online discussion the Center hosted on the topic earlier this month.
