T+L Conference's Moviefest and 20 to Watch return

Two of the T+L Conference's most popular programs are returning again this year. The annual Moviefest competition is back for students who want to express themselves through video. Also, 20 to Watch, which searches for emerging education technology leaders, has returned.

Moviefest, which is sponsored by NSBA, Apple, Inc. and Digital Event Logistics, invites students across the country to answer the question: "How can one person make a difference?" Students will create a 60-second public service announcement to share insights, ideas, and inspiration for making positive change happen in one area--as individuals, as members of the local community, or as global citizens. Submissions will be accepted until April 23.

20 to Watch seeks to identify 20 emerging leaders who, like today's education technology pioneers, cross all job titles and district sizes. Classroom, building, and district leaders will be considered, as well as those making exceptional contributions in state departments of education. Submit your nominations by August 1.

Those selected for each program will be announced during the annual T+L Conference in Nashville, October 17-19. For information on all the conference latest, including registration details, check in with the conference Web site often.
