O'Connor to headline NSBA annual conference

She may not be making regular appearances on the bench of the nation's highest court anymore, but she will be appearing at NSBA's Annual Conference in San Francisco, April 14-17, 2007. Sandra Day O'Connor , the first woman appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court, will share her unique perspective and knowledge with conference attendees.

A Stanford University graduate, O'Connor was nominated by President Ronald Reagan in 1981, and served for nearly 25 years until her retirement earlier this year.

The conference will also feature current national topics affecting education leaders in their local districts and one of the largest expositions of education products and services in the country. For more information and updates, visit the conference site or sign up for the conference e-newsletter here. Registration opens in just one week on September 12.
