T+L Celebrates 20th Anniversary in Dallas November 8-10
NSBA's T+L Conference takes place in the Dallas Convention Center November 8-10. A fitting venue, Dallas is where the first T+L Conference was held 20 years ago. The conference called Dallas home its first eight years, and returned to Dallas in 1996, 1999, and 2002.
T+L, which stands for Technology + Learning, is about school districts creating leadership teams focused on the wise use of technology across all aspects of a district: teaching and learning in the classroom; administrative operations; interactive tools for engagement of parents and community members; and establishing appropriate technology policies. School district teams often attend together: school board members, administrators, district technology and curriculum staff, as well as teachers. Registration opens in May. For more info, click here.
Many school boards are doing wonderful things to support their districts' effective implementation of technology. Share your stories by contributing to the conference program. The deadline for district workshop proposals is Friday, February 24. The deadline for district Salute recognition is April 17. The deadline for Education Excellence Fair and roundtable proposals is April 22. Enter submissions online.
