Supremes hear arguments today on case that could impact schools

The case's impact on schools could be significant, as BoardBuzz explained here when NSBA filed its amicus brief (pdf) to the Court. Here is NSBA's press release with more important info. Soronen says the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals arguably "went off both deep ends" in its decision in the case, referring to the majority and the concurrence. That court's decision is on appeal today before the Supremes, and NSBA is arguing in its brief for balance.
