Flagging support

How far does $9,563.90 go? According to the Tampa Tribune, it's the amount paid for the 1,621 U.S. flags the Hillsborough County, Fla., school district bought to comply with a law requiring public schools, colleges, and universities to have flags that measure at least two feet by three feet in each classroom. The amount was donated to the school district by the Hillsborough Education Foundation. BoardBuzz wonders whether educators would have used that amount differently if given the opportunity.
