Technology Leadership Network

Members of the Technology Leadership Network met on Friday for the annual Executive Briefing for Board Members at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. This year's briefing, "Visionary Leadership: From Data to Results, Building the Case for Transformation," brought members on a tour with Alan November to High Tech High known for its innovative structure and 100% college placement record. The afternoon session, led by Dr. Doris Redfield of AEL demystified scientifically based-research. Finally, the day ended with a coaching session from Denise Brodsky (Clark County School District, NV) and Jimmy Fahrenholtz (District 3 Orleans Parish School Board, LA) on how board members can champion the case for effective, integrated technology upon their return home.
Attendees had opportunities to use a touch poll system, share their thoughts on the state of technology integration in their districts and network.
