Good schools = good economy

Maybe this is an example of researchers telling us what we've known all along: Good public schools equate with solid economic development. Two organizations, the Economic Policy Institute and the Knowledge Works Foundation, have sponsored studies on the positive impact that investment in public schools has on the national, state, and local economies. So who is telling us that money for schools doesn't matter?
