Taking responsibility

As we demand state legislators to stand and be counted when it comes to supporting education, we should also admit that some school districts sometimes also have a similar problem when it comes to taking responsibility. This story lays out one example. We read it not as an indictment, but as a cautionary tale, from which all schools can learn a lot.
