Supreme Court rules on Ten Commandments displays

On its last day in town of this session, the Court this morning issued its much anticipated rulings in the Ten Commandments cases. Here was our take when the Court heard oral arguments in March. We'll have more to say on this tomorrow. The short version is that anyone (read: NSBA) who was hoping for more clarity on these vexing church-state issues is going to be mighty disappointed. The Justices issued no fewer than 10 separate opinions in these two cases. If it's this hard for them, pity your local school board.
